OSPF Number Conversion

NSX uses decimal formatted area numbers while some router vendors have the option to use dotted decimal OSPF area numbers. Two simple scripts to convert between the two OSPF Area number formats.

This page uses the html5 output tag and a little javascript. Tested on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari ok.

Dotted Decimal to Decimal OSPF Area Number Conversion

Update the octets to obtain the OSPF decimal number –

1st Octet 2nd Octet 3rd Octet 4th Octet Decimal Area Number
